What To Feed Your Rabbit

* We suggest that you buy a 50# bag of rabbit pellets. If you have 2 rabbits a 50# bag of pellets should last a long time (e.g. for our first 2 rabbits it lasted approximently 6 months). Make sure the pellets are fresh smelling and not moldy. Feed your rabbit grass hay (Timothy hay, Barmuda grass etc,) several times a week. It is better if they are fed it every day.
* I have heard it is not good to feed a rabbit chocolate. I'm not sure why though.
* Rabbits can be fed bread. Our rabbits really like bread when we give it to them. They can also be fed cheerios. Our rabbits also like cherrios.
* It is also good to feed your rabbit fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the week. Feed only small amounts of any of the things on the list below. Because feeding alot of treats is not a good thing to do because they rabbits may not eat their pellets like they should. Here is a list of some of the fruits and vegetable that are good for your rabbit.
